As promised to the candidates, here are the FINAL results.

A total of 7 questions were submitted with only several of the candidates responding to only 3 questions (check the “Response Score-Card Page“). Over the past 9 months it was questionable that any candidate would respond to any questions essentially from an unknown person, me. I am, however, a retired law enforcement officer, a Vietnam era veteran that served a total of 6 years in the U.S. Air Force of which I spent almost 2 years in Thailand installing secure communications, with a TS/TS Crypto clearance. After, I became a certified paramedic and later obtained my degree in journalism. Having my degree helped me in my current position as the media officer in a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in which the organization raises money to help support other non-profits. So, I had really hoped that these candidates selected would be able to answer these few questions in order for a voting constituent to understand just where their policies land. Although hopeful, I am NOT surprised that some of the candidates absolutely refused to answer any question. Some candidates did respond with responses that appeared to be well thought out. From the beginning, I let the candidates know that this platform would NOT endorse any candidate. Their responses would be the voice that voters need to hear and decide which candidate was best suited for the position of governor although the questions and responses are forwarded to union members, every GOP office in every county in California, local and national news outlets, elected officials and finally the candidates themselves. Voters should be able to ask any candidate a question and get an answer. I would think that a total of 7 questions over the period of 9 months is not too much to ask, but it appears that my expectations were too high.
